Great cocktails and a family-friendly atmosphere at a Chinese restaurant that’s more than just a Chinese restaurant
Soy Kitchen: One of My Favorite Chinese Restaurants in Madrid
If you’ve been following me for a while, you probably already know that Soy Kitchen is one of my favorite spots in Madrid. It’s a restaurant I keep coming back to for many reasons: amazing Bloody Marys and cocktails, attentive and friendly service, a cozy atmosphere, and, of course, Julio’s cuisine—one of the best Chinese dining experiences in Madrid.
Julio is a self-taught chef who continues to surprise and win people over with cuisine that has a personality all its own. His menu features fresh ingredients, bold flavors, and his unique take on Chinese cuisine as the main highlights.
Among the dishes that make Soy Kitchen worth revisiting are its dim sum—in my opinion, among the best in the city. But the experience goes far beyond that.
Also stand out are the flame-grilled fish, the gyoza, and the seafood, all accompanied by that incredible sauce that will have you licking your lips for every last drop.
Soy Kitchen is one of those Chinese restaurants in Madrid that has managed to build a recognizable identity and create an experience that makes you want to come back. The cuisine, cocktails, a cozy atmosphere, and friendly service round out an experience that explains why it remains one of my favorite spots in the city.
