Poca sobriedad y mucho público familiar en un restaurante a la altura de sus predecesores de grupo que ofrece un ágape mucho más solemne y formal que en el resto de los locales del grupo. Así lo demuestra también su precio. Sólo un detalle. La trufa se pesa frente al cliente y se le ofrece a discreción. Tras ello se vuelve a pesar y se valora a 10€ el gramo… Unos 60 gramos son los idóneos para un buen plato de pasta al aroma trufado.

Numa Pompilio arrives on the heels of the resounding success and good positioning among the “beautiful people” of Madrid of El Paraguas, Quintín Ultramarinos, Ten con Ten and Amazónico. Specialized in quality Italian food and located in the city’s Barrio Salamanca, the restaurant is full of classicism, the baroque and large wall frescoes. With an impressive courtyard terrace, we opt for sharing the very correct stuffed zucchini blossoms and an authentic Italian mortadela. Aside from the pasta dishes, some standouts are the excellent risottos (pumpkin and parmesan or morel with truffles), which are well made and perfectly done. The pasta is perfectly cooked and accompanied by less-conventional sauces that eschew the traditionalcarbonaras, pestos and Bologneses for combinations and flavors – some of which even hail from different parts of the world.
